Author
Biography for F.J. Telasco
My name is
F.J. Telasco. I live in Fort Lauderdale,
Florida. I am a lifelong bachelor;
please don’t hold that against me. I am
the author of “Malcolm.” This is my
first self-published novel, with many more to come. I attended Barry University, in Miami Shores,
Florida. I graduated with a Bachelor’s
of Science in Finance and Economics.
I have worked in the public sector as a law
enforcement officer. My final stint in
law enforcement was with the United Nations Peace Keepers as a civilian police
officer stationed in Haiti. I have also
worked in the private sector. I worked
for a large regional bank in Southern California as a loan officer. Later on, I received my license to be a
commodities broker. I worked for several
different trading firms both in California and in Florida.
I have
always been interested in being a writer.
I wrote my first full length story in the fifth grade. My then teacher did not appreciate all the
grammatical errors. She was especially not
happy with the subject matter. The title
of the story was, “Could Jesus have been an alien from another planet.” She was flabbergasted to say the least. It was after all a private catholic grade
school. I stopped writing for a while. But from time to time, I would put pen to
paper and come up with a story as the years went by. I dreamed of being a writer and being
published one day. This is my first step
on that journey.
Thank You.
